About This Project
In support of Monroe County Parks and Recreation, and through the generosity of the community, the Monroe County Parks Foundation is able assist in providing quality parks, recreation and educational programs, promoting an appreciation of environmental and cultural resources, and preserving green space. Monroe County remains committed to making facilities and services available to anyone, regardless of resident status, ability to pay, or physical/mental ability. Since its establishment in 2002, the Monroe County Parks Foundation has supported playground improvement projects, land acquisition initiatives, greenway amenity enhancements, program scholarships, and special events.
